Cornerways Childrens Services has been established for 17 years and has developed national recognition as a specialist long term therapeutic residential care service for young women aged 12 – 18. Each residential home is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).

Our service includes access to various therapeutic resources.

Cornerways has its own education service with a separate DfES registered and approved (SEN) school. In November 2005 the school received a very positive pre-Ofsted inspection report.

Cornerways Fostering Services is an independent fostering provider offering quality foster family based care for children and young people who are Looked After. Unlike the young women placed in Cornerways Residential Services, the children and young people fostered with Cornerways Foster Carers have a broader range of individual needs, care plans, a wider age range, and are both boys and girls.

As part of the Cornerways organisation the fostering service is able to access the knowledge and resources of the education and therapeutic services currently provided by Cornerways Childrens Services.
